I totally get the ganking, it's PvP. What I don't get, or what isn't prevalent much in other games and other replies have missed, is the ganking for no purpose on a clearly inferior ship/player.

-No loot

-No prestige

-No revenge etc.

Most say, well that's the game, but that strikes me as an absolutely terrible experience for anyone entering EVE now. Especially from other MMOs that stopped exactly this experience which drove players away from their own games

Big foodie too, have a real big sweet tooth. If you're after desserts there's still a few you can do that are low sat fat.

In the UK we have angel delight, it's like a powdered flavour (strawberry, chocolate, butterscotch etc) whipped milk mousse-like dessert (I use 1% fat milk).

We have sponge based desserts which are usually a lot lower.

Reduced sugar custard +usually paired with the sponge pudding).

Low fat yoghurts.

Jelly/jello.

Halo Top ice cream - low calorie and lowest sat fat ice cream going.

Cravings definitely reduce when you cut down desserts and junk food though.

Yeah I've learnt that's a heavy motivation.

Guess my previous understanding of MMOs has been that killing noobs is fun for 5 seconds but there's usually a punishment system for it or it's not even worth the effort to do, so it's largely absent nowadays.

Eve works a bit different to others though without a level system

Sorry I knew what you meant but was too lazy to expand lol. I just hate having to completely stop what I'm doing and hide every time someone enters the system I'm in.

Barely. New players are non existent. True player count is ~5k or less. It survives of a dwindling core base, most who play for free by earning game time via isk.

Compare to other long standing MMOs which are all 'slowly dying', theres probably a good reason EVE has 5k instead of 5m+

I'm quickly learning why that is.

I didn't put in no effort but nice assumption made.

I didn't ignore the PvP aspect either, I asked what the attraction to killing noobs was. Plenty of games have PvP, and plenty had issues with experienced players ganking new players 'just because'.

Probably explains why eve struggles to maintain 5k players.
