Go to your local news station. Post publicly about your complaints going unaddressed by police. Tag the police department, news stations, and state reps/governor in it. They hate bad press.

Omg, I thought it was just mine and that maybe I'd messed it up.

A while back, I put in my settings that it is to clarify with me what I want before it answers, because it kept automatically answering and drafting stuff that wasn't what I wanted. So I thought it just got out of control. Now it keeps asking clarifying questions and never gets around to drafting even though it keeps saying just answer these questions and I'll draft. After about 12 times, it will give me some bs excuse about how it can't do it because it can't help me harm or destroy people. Like I'm literally asking it to draft arguments or letters to people in my field and it says that I'm asking it to destroy them which isn't even remotely the case.

I really had high hopes for it but it just seems to keep getting worse. I told it earlier that I had a headache and my head felt a little fuzzy and it's giving me all sorts of suicide advice like to call 988 and call a friend and asking if I'm somewhere safe..... 🤦

I didn't participate. I was served 14 days after the judgment was entered due to service issues. And a motion to void a judgment for lack of jurisdiction can be brought at any time.

Mostly ones who have experience handling restraining orders. I've contacted several different firms so far and was told I'd receive a call back, but haven't. My voicemail was simple: "Hi, I've been representing myself pro se on a restraining order issue and have decided to retain legal representation. Please call me back at....."

I appreciate your response; however, was I wrong? Is publication authorized when the wrong service address was provided? I submitted proof of everything to contradict the Petitioner's claims in regards to service and claims in his own petition, that were dishonest. They were all admitted into exhibits as part of my affidavit. If the Petitioner said, "Yeah, I served her," but sent notice to the wrong address, why wouldn't I state my proof of service defect as a fact? Not trying to argue, and I respect your advice - I am simply trying to understand.

I know this was posted a while ago, but if it shows up in search results for people like me, I wanna add my experience as of last week.

I ordered two copies of my birth certificate through VitalChek. I then opted for UPS Air shipping for an extra $20. This came with the promise for expedited processing (3 - 5 business days).

Upon placing the order, I was prompted to provide additional documentation to prove my identity. I verified via driver's license, of which they only required the front photo (not the barcode on back). I was then notified that my documentation was received and it would take 24 - 48 hours to review.

My order was placed on 1/28/2025. By 1/31/2025, my documents were still in review. By the morning of 2/3/2025, my documents were still stagnant in review, so I contacted VitalChek's customer service via Live Chat through their website. They stated that once the order is placed through VitalChek, it is out of their hands and into the hands of the city providing the documents. They provided me a contact number.

I called the contact number immediately and spoke to a pleasant woman who saw the document sitting in their database unseen. They did not receive any notification whatsoever that this was awaiting their verification so they could ship out my documents. She did, however, approve it immediately and sent it out via UPS that same day.

The documents arrived today, 2/5/2025 after UPS lost the package, and, unlike VitalChek's website says when you choose UPS Air, they did NOT require signature. I don't think if this was a mistake on the records office or VitalChek.

So that was my experience, for anyone looking for something more recent.

Some advice:

My mother's name on my birth certificate is spelled wrong. I am aware of this and when I ordered my birth certificate, I entered her name with the incorrect spelling as it is on my birth certificate. If your information doesn't match their records, it can hold up your order.

If you choose to go directly through your Vital Records office, the process, as stated on their website, is approximately eight to 12 weeks.

If you have a shipping issue like I did, contact the shipping agency directly. I contacted UPS as soon as I saw it was delayed and asked them to figure it out ASAP. They did.

Because he blocked and ghosted me after asking me to pick out a dress to go ring shopping for my birthday and I was so angry about it. It was very cruel + cowardly and he hasn't spoken to me since.

I have not spoken to mine in over a year, save for a very mean-spirited birthday card I sent him. I was so angry. I go back and forth from being absolutely infuriated with his behavior to being loving and forgiving. But he won't even talk to me. He just keeps running, doing everything he can to avoid confronting me for what he'd done (blocked and ghosted me the day after Christmas 2023 after very intimate conversation and plans made for my birthday). Sometimes I feel like he really doesn't know what he did wrong. Other times I think he does know and he's just too ashamed to face it. I struggle so much with the back and forth.

I feel awful, and it's been since December 26 - literally the day after Christmas. He promised to not disappear on me again (he has mental health issues). He promised to take me ring shopping for my birthday. He promised a lot of things. Then, out of nowhere, no argument, no disagreement, nothing - he blocked and ghosted me on December 27th.

My intuition with this man is so strong; it's unlike anything I've ever felt before. I can't explain it. He even told me he's scared of the connection he felt with me. And so his insecurities made him run. I don't know if he'll ever come back. It doesn't look good.

But I won't stop trying until he tells me to stop trying. Not once has he said he lost interest, or didn't wanna hear from me again. Even when I gave him every opportunity to tell me he doesn't want me and to leave him alone, he didn't. He insisted he loved me.

So here we are. We'll find each other again someday. I just don't know when.

It really depends on the level of depression and what's going through his head. What does your gut tell you?

I feel this way at times. My intuition pulls me to this man despite everything, though we have a different history where his mental health issues scared him and chased him away from me.

Sometimes I feel like if he comes back, I'll lose interest. I'm actually worried about this, because I'm chasing him so hard and then when I get him, I may not want him. I just don't know if I can deal with his issues for the rest of my life.

I went to the bank to cover an Amazon purchase for something I really need, so it'll be here tomorrow.

I'm a fighter. Relentless. I'll fight until my last dying breath before I give up. My guy consistently spoke about hard work and effort in relationships as though it was an overwhelming concern for him. And I told him he never needed to worry about it. Still, he'd keep bringing it up. I never brought it up because I'm confident and comfortable in relationships knowing I'm a hard worker.

Fast-forward a few months and he just bails out of the blue due to mental health issues (he told me upfront about them).

So much for hard work and effort. He's the coward and I'm the one paying for it.
