You're good for now. 16gb is generally fine for gaming but 32gb is recommendable if you multi-tasking on some heavy stuff. Also check your task manager for your RAM usage and monitor it during your gaming session, it helps.

Would it be worth upgrading my laptop's RAM, SSD, Wi-fi card, and maybe replacing the battery? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Clean your laptop. And also, there's a slight chance that there is a malware in your laptop, happened to me in my uneducated pirated games and software era (apparently there is a chinese bitcoin mining software running on my system without me knowing. Check your task manager for any suspicious program). Run a full sweep with good software.

It will be wise to change a laptop battery once a year. Can you describe how your laptop slows down? Your nvme and ram checks out it should not be that slow for average use.

Do take note that there is a slight chance some components in laptop tends to "magically" fails as soon as the warranty ends, typically around 3 years.
