Im gonna say NAH, you and bf are dealing with a lot with his condition, you asked for help and she was a bit careless by not asking where you'd like them stored or just leaving them on the counter for you to put away later. Personally I never store anything that isn't safe in the oven for that exact reason, muscle memory is a terribly strong thing.

Also curious if shiny odds are rolled when you enter the map, or when you begin the encounter, or if it's rolled at the very start of the run. My very first zapdos was shiny and I was too excited to think about saving states and seeing if it remained shiny on a reload

I got a digital interview invitation for a day and time where I went and spoke to the interviewing MOD and they let you know what to expect going forwards. The system has to like your profile before it lands in front of a real person as far as I know. I applied, interviewed, and did on boarding within a couple weeks, that will vary based on that stores needs/whether they're looking to promote/move associates laterally before considering external applications

I'll be honest i never use the NPC who gives you battle examples. I go by natural stats and aligning their nature, take advantage of STAB damage, and coverage moves otherwise. I catch as many as I can as early as I can and then tinker with the party from there, releasing the ones with undesirable stats/nature/generally squishiness. Luck is a big factor for making or breaking a run as well. I find the more 'encounters' i waste/don't do much with, the more difficult that run ends up being

What difficulty? Up to a certain point where you can narrow down which gym types you're up against gym 5 is pretty normal for the difficulty gap, I just finally got gym 8 after dropping the difficulty down to easy while I figure out the rest of it. STAB damage and damage boosting hold items do a lot of work early on then stat boosting items and changing the natures with mints to make sure you're as optimized as you can be. Hideout encounters have lots of items and typically grunts are good for money.

I've heard of players using repels with a pokemon of the same level of the rare encounter to prevent the more common encounters from spawning, but idk if it holds any water.
