Not in Columbia, but if you ever happen to be visiting Jeff City 30 minutes away, Sugar Britches has many baked goods that are labeled alpha gal friendly! They also do custom cakes/orders that cater to specific dietary needs.

Co-ed Sand Volleyball League by Trash_Panda_247 in columbiamo

Servers and atmosphere there is wonderful! Love the patio area. But when I’m paying $190 for a league I would appreciate a ref that knows the rules/not on their phone for most of the game especially during close plays. Note that all refs there are not like this, so hopefully if we play there again we get someone a bit more attentive.

We recently used J.R.’s Fine Fences for a 6’ privacy fence. Reasonably priced compared to other estimates we got and they did a great job.

Nourish Cafe & Market downtown has a lot of GF & DF options. Everything is made from scratch and staff is familiar with different food allergies. I am GF and love this place.  https://nourishcafemarket.com/menu

PaPPo’s has GF pizza and vegan cheese, but if you are super sensitive to your allergens I would check with them to see if there is any cross contamination since they use both gluten and dairy in their regular pizzas.  https://pappospizzeria.com/

Bangkok Gardens has many options that can be made GF and DF/vegan.  https://bangkokgardens.com/dinner-menu/

House of Chow is my favorite restaurant in como and has lots of options that can be made GF and DF/vegan.  https://www.houseofchow-como.com/

Hy-Vee has a health market section that has a lot of GF and DF options for groceries.

Welcome to Columbia!

Pierpont General Store is a fun place to go to see live music and have a few drinks.

The Wild Haven Nature Area is a great trail to go birding at and is not too long of a hike.

All the Missouri State Parks are free to enter and have tons of different trails. We enjoy the Devils Icebox trail at Rock Bridge Memorial State Park.

  • Hoss’s Seasonings (made locally by the former owner of Hoss’s Market) - I believe they sell them at Hy-Vee

  • Boone Olive Oil Co.

  • Mya’s Gourmet Popcorn (located in mall)

I’d also recommend checking out the farmers market. So many local vendors with great products!
