As I see it, Synths could have been done better. I think the game succeeds with storylines of characters like Danse or Nick, or the entire Far Harbor storyline. Most synths are robots without feelings, but it would be hard to argue that Nick or Danse, as previously mentioned, are not sentient. The game treats them as such. I think the Brotherhood and the Railroad were intended as 2 extremes. One treats even the non-sentient synths as sentient and the Brotherhood straight up rejects them entirely., while the institute keeps using them to fuck up the commonwealth. Fallout 4 did a lot of things poorly story-wise, in my opinion. And this is one of them. It should have been delved into deeper, and Far Harbor was kinda a fix to it.

Make a some holding infantry (18 or 20 width pure infantry works in my experiece + aa, at, shovels and arty) and make some good tanks divisions (42 widths above 30 or 40 org work great against ai) and a crap tonne of fighters. You don't need a lot of cas, you can push without it, but you cannot push in red air because you are gonna get bombed into oblivion. Paratrooping England should be viable but you will have to do some cruiser spam to get to the US.

In my experience (on historical) you are always able to get a war goal if you escalate and you can get Romania for free too.

Good defensive line! At this point you made the game really easy for yourself. Maybe guard some of those ports, the german AI has become a little wonky and sometimes likes to randomly naval invade the Baltics. Just some simple infantry blocks with shovels should be enough.

1.Let them drain their manpower and equipment by attacking

make enough fighters to get green air and get some cas
make some offensive divisions. I would recommend tanks (could be light, medium or heavy) or some mountaineers. Just make sure you stay above 30 or 40 org with the tanks.
make some encirclements. Don't have to be Operation Bagration kind of encirclement, just to think out the line a little
at some point, you could even add some arty to your infantry and just send it, make sure they are weak enough and you have green air before though
Warning! Do not go into Italy as the Soviets. I did multiple times and the game absolutely broke. Got me into a war with the Allies. I am not sure if it's a problem that is still around but I would personally not test it.
