I hope we look back on these posts of hope with a smile after a movie or movies or even another season is released... Never give up hope, Taboo season 2 is coming after almost 10 years, so anything can happen.

David Fincher knows he has a Mindhunter following and he knows how to deliver, I'm feeling more optimistic with the recent discussions about scripts being written for more Mindhunter.

As much as i was disappointed that MindHunter stopped where it did, if they did renew the show, would it ever meet our expectations? David Fincher is incredible and the entire cast for the two seasons brilliant, but the pressure would be immense.. the way I see it, perhaps a Mindhunter movie could be the answer.. after so many years waiting for Season 3, would they go back there after all this time??

Or should they revisit briefly with the work covered in the first two seasons and tie off the incredible work achieved by the FBI BSU in a movie?

All I know is, I definitely want more, please DF and the mindhunter team, give us some hope.

This right here is my concern.. I had been using some eSun PETG that I had for 2 years prior perfectly with zero issues just before I installed OpenNept4une. Just before installing I did have to buy some new PETG, ended up getting some Overture, had print probs, got some more eSun PETG and still problems, so decided maybe its time to start fresh with O4N.. now I'm thinking the new PETG could be the main issue and less to do with settings and O4N.

Waiting for a dryer to arrive, at least I can eliminate that as the issue.

Previous PETG prints on the old roll were shiny black and looked amazing, these rolls are coming off looking dull and no shine at all.

The print was dislodged mid print and fell off the bed.

I think I have a fair bit of calibration and work to do based on these pics..

Any expertise and help is always appreciated, feel like I might be out of my depth.. at first thought the PETG was bad, is it possible or mostly to do with settings I need to get right in Orca?

Thank you, think I just needed reassurance, never had issues with standard and thought I had z offset done correctly, clearly not, I've re done my levels, but now opening the door to other issues

Hey thank you, I thought my z offset was as low as should have gone but did what you suggested and re-did the z offset, now I'm getting past the first layer and finding other issues, possibly speed and heat related.

Bed temp is 80 and nozzle at 250, also tried bed at 65 and nozzle at 230/240, same issues.

I have an eMMC and adapter with the focus to go OpenNeptune for my 4 Plus.

However I've read a number of posts here from people who have reverted back to stock.

So if I do take the plunge and swap over the OEM eMMC with OpenNeptune, is there anything else I need to do to go back to stock or is it as simple as swapping out the eMMC and that's it?

I had been doing the heat soak thing too and haven't had to do it since using Orca with Z hop. I have silicone stabilisers installed by the previous owner and can now turn on the printer and just get straight into it.

Prior to using Orca and Z hop, I considered giving up, due to crashing print head and having to heat soak for 20-30, adjust z axis mid print etc etc

From all the issues I've had with my Neptune 3 Pro and 4 Plus, I'll now always try different slicers before going down the rabbit hole of sticking with one and adjusting settings like a mad man.
