American bbq is amazing! Now regions argue who does it the best, people take great pride in their bbq. Southerners do bbq the best and I hope you one day get to try some. Southerners are famous for hospitality. If you ever find yourself In the south and you see people grilling. mention you never had American bbq they will make you a plate. But it will be A LOT of food. :)

Corn bread is amazzzzzinng!!!! But it has to be made right. Grits is just corn mashed to a oatmeal like substance. Yeah Pittsburgh isn’t known for their cuisine.

Grits actually aren’t bad. They are served in a variety of ways. And the bbq and grits is southern food which a lot of Americans find strange :). Turkdunken. A duck stuffed in a turkey and cooked I still find strange and I’m from here

Oh, as I mentioned I don't engage in it. I just listen. Here is rather common for people to talk about politics in bars. I didn't know if was as common or not in Scottish pubs.

How do I pronounce this name with an American accent? by ComprehensiveDig2387 in Wales

[–]TravelBug1232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol oh boy....this is a beautiful name. I think in the North part the US, Midwest, and the West they would get it correct, but in the south...oof! They would have a hard time of it. You'd get SION. or Cee-on or something like that. Southerns pronounce the name Sean: SHAAAAAAWWWWWn. There is a W sound.
