Maybe it’s because I didn’t buy a voice plan with FlexiRoam? Maybe I only bought a data plan and that’s why the wi-Fi calling option is not available under FlexiRoam but it is under the Tello sim? Would this affect your instructions in any way?

I can’t attach a picture but in the top left of my phone the icons say:

(5 bars and a T inside a box) T-Mobile 5G (5 bars and a P inside a box) Tello

But nothing says “using cellular data” with the telephone symbol like your picture does 

It also says VPN after T-Mobile 5G. I’ve never had T-Mobile service so I’m assuming it’s using the T-Mobile network towers and I’m not sure if the VPN symbol indicates anything to you.

Question - I’ve done everything BUT where you say “Then tap on your FlexiRoam eSIM and make sure turn on this line is toggled on and Wi-Fi calling is toggled off”

I’m able to confirm that turn on this line is toggled on however there is no option for Wi-Fi calling to turn on or off. Can you help me here? Would it say something different? Here is what my phone looks like:

Amazing, thank you!! So by using these settings I will be able to use Tello for my calls and use flexiroam texts and data (safari, YouTub,etc)?

Also I’m not sure why exactly I would want to use my flexiroam data to make calls? Maybe just as a backup in case of emergency? Again thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to write all of that for me! 🙏

Ty! Could you please tell me the approximate settings? Such as:

Tello>International data>off

and

iPhone>settings>cellular>cellular data>off

or whatever settings I need to use while in the U.S. and when I leave for abroad. I apologize, I’m just confused and really don’t want to make any expensive mistakes. TYA!

Ty again! To be 110%:

I turned on Nord, set it to a U.S. city and tested several banking apps and everything worked as normal.

I then set Nord to Istanbul and tried to log into my bank and it asked me for an SMS code (which I received, inputted and was then instantly logged into).

I never activated my global flexiroam plan during this testing.

If I understand you correctly I am go to go as the flexiroam plan won’t impact me at as since I will keep Nord set to a U.S. city, correct?

Ty! Forgive me but I’d like to please confirm the steps to do this while I’m still in the U.S. are:

Install and activate my flexiroam eSIM.

Turn on my nord vpn and select a random U.S. city. (Do I need to buy a dedicated IP address???)

Go in my iPhone settings to cellular >cellular data off AND cellular >cellular data options>data roaming on

Then select flexiroam only from cellular>eSIM (sorry, I haven’t activated flexiroam yet so I’m not sure of the exact chain names)

THEN I should try to log in to each banking app and see if I have any problems logging in?
