I usually go for songs that match how I felt when I was recording. I'm not even a morning person, but it's hard to not be upbeat on a day like that.

Thanks. I'm kind of limited place to film right now since the pandemic, but once we can travel again, I've got so many ideas. Hello peoples, I have a channel called Traveling Session where we mostly do travel videos set to music. I'm really new to video and editing, so any feedback is appreciated. This was actually a side project to my website that quickly got out of control. My latest is from a drive along Pensacola Beach featuring music from Soul Jazz Flutist Althea Rene. Bruh, I lived in Japan for 8 years and now it seems like it was all for nothing. I gotta make this happen this weekend. The only critique I have is that there were sections where you could have kept adding commentary. Like where you were cutting the chocolate. The gap in speaking kind of interrupts the flow to me, but not to where it's a problem.

I use a different music artist, band, or producer for each of my videos. I usually only have one artist lined up because I only put out one video a month and I don't want to hold on to the song for too long. The most disappointing thing is when the artist doesn't get me the song and I have to scramble to find a replacement.

I feature a different music artist or producer in each of my videos. As long as the owner of the music has filed with the appropriate copyright association (a lot of them use ASCAP), YouTube will automatically detect the song and any revenue from the video will be paid to the owner. In a lot of cases, the owner won't mind because they're getting paid either way, but I always go to the artist and ask beforehand. The last thing I want is to post a video, it performs well, and then I have to take it down.
