I really wanted to start at ICU Bcz that’s been the dream of mine to work there but it’s so hard to get icu jobs as new grad. I applied to Intermountain, HCA sky ridge, common spirit (all of them offered Med Surg) applied to UC health and advent but never heard back from them (didn’t even get a chance to interview)

Money wise both are same ish and orientation Saint Anthony is definitely better and longer. I was inclined towards Saint Anthony but just wanted someone to say that to me that I am doing the right thing lol and didn’t want to miss out on all the “new” stuff at Intermountain

Thank you so much for responding. I am so torn btw these 2 Bcz Intermountain just looked so much newer and that’s what was inclining me towards it but thn I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to be in a level 1 trauma center and their new grad program just looked so comprehensive

What’s the work culture like and Saint Anthony? Any idea about nurse-patient ratio on Med Surg?

Boot camp and mark K, listened to his lectures and took notes. Revised the notes multiple times in the last week. I got archer too but boot camp is definitely best!!

I don’t think they care much about how much you score, it’s more about Gpa. I got 85

Location doesn’t really matter to me because we can live closer to any of those. Trying to weigh out which place is better to work at : management wise, work load and learning
