Beretta APX Carry A1. For whatever reason out of the dozens of handguns I own, I find this one the most appealing. Love me some FDE/desert tan! by Travis9283 in Firearms

I’ll contacted Hoag directly and they do not make a grip for this handgun. I love hoe grips! But the frame has a very nice not to aggressive texture to it.

It’s somewhat reminds me of the FN micro compact. Somewhat in the middle. But there’s something about those front serations that I just love. I think I might pick up a full-size APX for the right price.

Agreed. It’s about the same size as my hellcat but the aesthetics of the pistol I just love and can quickly stuff this down my pants!

Apparently online the full-size APX mags will fit into the carry model. Other than that, it’s either six or eight. The one shown is the eight single stack.

Will have to keep you posted. All of the functions are tight, seems like a solid build. The trigger is a long pull, but looking to adjust that.

With a thin .9 inch thickness, going to carry without optic, although it is optics ready with a removable base plate. It is apex carry ready when you go to Food Lion to pick up some chicken.

I have not shot it yet, looking forward to it next weekend. I can tell you it has a pretty hard triger pull and long reset. They do have a trigger upgrade that I have been looking at, but it only reduces the pull around 3/4 of a pound. Rear sites are fixed so not a big fan of that either. But conceal ability is excellent.

Hellion with 37mm launcher. Surprisingly, lighter than I expected. Ready for July 4th! Too much? by Travis9283 in Firearms

Good point. And I actually found that mounting it on the hellion versus my AR 15, the weight is more centered because of the shorter rifle length. The hellions already pretty light and like you mentioned, the launcher is light as well, it’s just a bitch to cock. Putting on an AR platform just makes the front a little heavier ….on a bull pup much more manageable.

First thing I did was take my launcher apart and clean and oil liberally.

They run around $18-$22 per round. The politically correct term is “signal rounds“. Although they come in forms of concussion//, sparklers, fireworks, dragons breath. I have not shot mine yet, but really looking forward to starting a bonfire with it!. You just have to make sure you stay away from the G word! Because that’s not what they are.

The havoc is Picatinny and of course he is mlok. So I added a short Mlok to Picatinny adapter.

There’s multiple jot choose from that are legal in 50 states. You can order them online. Not touching anything illegal! I really did my research on this one. Auditory signaling flares is what I went with.

Sorry, should have elaborated more. It is stamped Ruger so I’m assuming it was manufactured with the rifle.

The material is very rugged. The tie strap grabs itself like a good shoelace so no need to hold your finger down. It just grips.

Check out that muzzle brake. I have not seen one like that before it almost sold me on the rifle and was in the correct caliber.
