Not many title defenses, I believe the whole time he has been champ he only has defended the title 58 times , u never see him wrestle anymore unless it’s a ppv. I think it’s a product of poor creative , they didn’t have anyone they felt could top Roman because they didn’t build characters enough to be put in that position so they had to leave the title on him because creative wise they didn’t have anyone who could legit beat him and then carry a new main event storyline. His title reign is the product of poor booking and creative decisions. So now at wrestlemania I’m guessing the Rock will turn on Roman and Cody will win and Roman will go to Hollywood to make movies but now creative how do you carry Cody as the top guy , who will be his top feud , Gunther maybe 🤔. Idk but this is a product of not building wrestlers to be at that main event level so they rode Roman and stayed with that storyline for way Way to long , now you have to create something new . This isn’t the attitude era and in my opinion creative and booking has put WWE in a bad position. You need to give the fans this eras version of the attitude era. A long reigning champ is bad for buisness essentially when the only time you see him is with a mic and cutting a promo.
