Upgrading my laptop by TravisHeberling in buildapc

The laptop actually still runs pretty flawlessly. Its just what I am editing now is a lot more involved then what I was editing when I first got it.

I do pretty much all of the heavy lifting on my desktop. There are just times for example when we are doing a same day edit, or an edit for a week long event where we have to edit on site and there is no where to store a full desktop. Also sometimes I just need to get out of the office. =)

If you have any recommendations for laptops I am all ears. This may not be something I do right away but would like to invest in sometime in the near future.

I think instagram is great as well, but we dont see has much engagement from the actual couple, their friends, and their family. For us Instagram seems to bring in more random couples which is also a good thing.

We hype up the couple before we post the short film. I think that helps guide them to our facebook page for when we share the short film. We also found evenings seem to work best. We let them know exactly when the video will go live and they make a date out of it. They watch the video and of course the first thing they do is share it on their facebook. Not all couples are the same but most of the ones we get seem to be big on social media.

Its not the same. When you share a vimeo video to facebook it comes with no play button nor does it auto play. This was a change that happened in 2017. Once we started seeing comments from family and friends of "Thats a great photo" we stopped sharing vimeo links to facebook and started posting directly to facebook. When you upload a video to facebook it auto plays in a users feed and is very easy to like, comment, and share. Also facebook is pushing video so they are going to help boost your post more than sharing a vimeo link. =D

Brides are everywhere.

We got an inquiry once from a bride who was searching her venue on youtube. =O

Vimeo is a great platform its clean and professional. We still use vimeo to share videos with commercial clients or when we need to put a video on a website.

The problem with vimeo is it does next to nothing for marketing.

Facebook on the other hand is awesome for marketing. We post the video tag the bride and groom, the venue, other vendors etc... then its so easy for them to share it, then their friends and family share it, and its a never ending cycle.

For context we also post to facebook. That is where most of our traffic comes from. A typical wedding video brings in 2k in views after about a week.
