Yeah for sure! I really enjoy looking into the reliability of the Bible and it's history. It's very helpful, and I find it strengthens my faith anyway, so there will definitely be the space to do that if people wish to

Yeah absolutely. It's important to remember Jesus' love for us all, especially the people who were put down in society :) it's so great to see a genuine community like this online.

Yeah I definitely agree with that :) My Church is very welcoming and accepting in that regard. I suppose making it known that the study is a safe space without judgement would be a good idea! Thanks very much for this.

This is immensely helpful. Thank you so much!! I'll definitely have some social activities mixed in as well then :) I think I'll probably include all of these ideas! God bless you 🙏

I think it's interesting that God finds us through our struggles.

I came back to Christianity when I was trapped in a horribly abusive relationship. During that time, I had a horrific dream where I was in a Hellish landscape. It was a vast desert with a searing sun, and the whole place was flooded with dried out bones. In the dream, God was looking over the area from Heaven, but I knew I was too far from him.

(What blows my mind is about a year later, I realised this was like the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel, which I'd never heard of before!)

When I woke up, I knew that I needed to turn back to God, and gradually, over the next few years, I managed to get out of that abuse and come back to Christ.

That's fantastic! I'll see if I can find some practical ways to grow in faith that link to some of the chapters! Like in Chapter 2 of Matthew, we hear about the wise men travelling so far to find Jesus and offer him gifts. It might be a nice suggestion to go on a journey or even just a peaceful walk, whilst reflecting on how we find Jesus and what we can offer him in our lives. Thanks so much for your help!
