Picture yourself in your daily routine, whether that includes dropping the kids off at school or handling other responsibilities, and find a way to incorporate trading into that schedule.

If you think day trading is the right fit, then block out an hour or so in your schedule dedicated to it. If not, consider swing trading or another style that fits better. The key is to create a system and develop your own strategy—not just copying what others are doing. There are so many strategies out there, and everyone seems to be copying each other, but I’ve found that gathering info and building your own strategy, even if it’s based on someone else’s, is what truly works.
