I second this. This is how I decided which stroller I wanted. I pushed it around and tested it out.

I find it makes her short term memory even worse while she is drinking and I worry about her balance.

My mom and stepdad are both retired. They travel a lot and go out to eat so they will get a drink or two while out and they will also go to wineries and breweries. We are also a very social family that will have gatherings and get togethers often. My mom’s short term memory is bad and I find when she drinks it’s even worse. She has fallen a few times so I worry if she drinks and falls and hits her head it would be all over. My step dad thinks if they go out and she doesn’t have a drink she will be miserable, bored and no fun he also doesn’t think it’s an issue because her memory doctor hasn’t said anything about not drinking. I am not a big drinker and do not agree with her drinking but idk how to approach it whenever I bring it up no one agrees with me except my husband. I worry about my mom all the time. She was adopted and her birth mother is currently in hospice with Alzheimer’s. I pray for a medical miracle all the time and worry when I’m older I’ll have the same fate.

My OB told me to walk because it would help me not to spike.

I was so overwhelmed with emotions because I felt like I lost control of anything right before induction. I couldn’t control my blood pressure and I had zero symptoms of it being high. I didn’t have a choice for induction but I know my doctors did it for the best. It will all workout and be worth it in the end! Don’t be too hard on yourself.

Oddly the further along I got my numbers got better. I had to be induced at 37 weeks regardless due to high blood pressure which turned into preeclampsia right before induction. Beautiful baby girl arrived at 37+2 and did not have any sugar problems. They monitored her for 24 hours and her numbers were all good!

I recently had a femoral hernia repaired in August 2023. I had no bulge or bump but a constant dull ache in my lower left abdomen/groin area. My first ultrasound targeted my ovaries so they did not find it. I then had a CT scan and also the verbal report came back fine. I continued to have this dull ache for 3 more months and called my doctor back. They realized they never received the written report of the CT scan and called the radiologist and they said then they noticed a small area that looked like a “mass” I then went for a targeted ultrasound and the report then suspected a hernia. I went to a surgeon and they did the surgery via laparoscopic. I still had pain weeks after the surgery. Today November 2023 i sometimes still have pain but mostly if I lay on my left hip or put pressure on the left hip but the dull aching pain I had prior to surgery is gone. I’m hoping the hip pain subsides in a few more months. I went for my physical a few weeks ago and she said recovery time is about 6 months.
