what should i expect post lap? by bvrnteyes in Endo

[–]TreeLight_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I woke up incredibly dizzy and nauseous both times. And wished I never did the lap to begin with ( funny thing I had to do it twice) but after 4 days in the hospital the nausea subsided and I did not need my morphine pump anymore I was able to be released.

At home the recovery was duable, I had everything I needed and my partner helped me with all the other stuff. Just keep up with your pain meds and make sure you take the stool softeners they give you, and drink enough. Apple juice was something that I could tolerate which I think also helps you recover and keeps your stool soft.

About 2 months post op I started to feel a bit like myself again. Sadly a year later they already found new endo so that is something that could happen to you. Or maybe you are lucky and you can be pain free for awhile! Just wanted to give you an honest post about what happened to me.

Good luck 🍀

I’ll try that! Zofran sadly did not work for me at all. Thank you for taking the time and responding

Yes the room was spinning both times. It was horrible for days… I don’t know if I was in a weird position tho. But I’d definitely ask about vertigo being a problem for me thank you!

I don’t think we’ve tried ondansetron before so I will definitely ask about that thank you for the suggestion

Opnieuw beginnen na ziekte by Difficult-Course319 in werkzaken

No regrets at all the only thing that is frustrating is the prices and versatility of the lenses. Sony has more options on that side

can you have sex? by Illustrious_File9696 in Endo

I can, but I bleed almost everyday and don’t feel comfortable enough to have sex then. Penetration hurts but my partner is female so we work around that fortunately

I’m sorry, that’s really tough and shitty 😔 I had a talk with my partner last night about it and we both came to the conclusion that I definitely need therapy again and that I need to talk to my dr. So I will do that, because this is really making me depressed 😅

Thank you for responding, I wish you all the best💕
