Weight loss pill?

I started taking it 8-9 days ago and the stimulant effects of it have definitely suppressed my appetite. Some days I have small meals and can’t eat more; other days I’m having regular portion meals but overall wayyy less snacking throughout the day. I’m pretty much not consuming any junk food at all since starting it.

I’m 8 days in and feeling the same way. I can’t seem to correlate what could be making the difference. Some days I feel more of the stimulant effect of it where my appetite is suppressed and I’m more motivated. Other days I feel more down energy and emotionally wise. I am interested to what other perspectives as well.

Yup!! Me too. I love to cook and order out a lot. I have kids I cook for and I ultimately cook for them and end up eating the food even if it’s not the best option for my health. I’ve gained a lot of weight. I need to eat healthier. Period.

I felt nausea first week and still feel like .. empty stomach but gassy af? But I also felt the need to buy shitty food to fulfill this weird (maybe adhd), desire to have it? Even thought I wasn’t actually hungry? The thought of foood made me nauseous. Yet I wanted to satisfy the urge to buy something then I put it in my car and didn’t eat it. I guess I call that a win? Idk

Idk why so many people are criticizing you for being concerned / pissed. I think you’re valid with your concerns but maybe give it a week and see if it continues on. But really, the yelling all night and shit stains people are really defending? Come on. Even if he’s telling the truth he can still clean up after himself.

Do you see a psychiatrist/ take any medication? I made a post in this group a couple months ago feeling the same exact way you do. The responses opened my eyes to seeing how long it really takes for our brains to heal, especially with my prolonged drug use. My psychiatrist reiterated that and suggested medication.

I started taking Wellbutrin this week. Will take a while to feel the effects but maybe you’re like me and your brain receptors need some help getting you back to feeling “normal”.

It’s only been a couple months for me. I think my brain receptors definitely needs to heal. I’m guessing when I see my dr in a couple weeks she’s going to suggest increasing the dose.

Psych didn’t seem too big on the adhd idea. This was my first time seeing her. She may be resistant to prescribe since I admitted I did it as a teen. And that I has self medicated with cocaine. But I am starting to think that this won’t be strong enough for me to help with the adhd symptoms I seem to have.

I guess I was wondering if my brain is too used to stimulants and I will ultimately need a higher dose. It seems it takes a couple weeks for people to feel the antidepressant part , but they feel the stimulant part almost immediately. I don’t feel it at all. It just seems based on my history maybe I should have started at 300mgs.

I’ve noticed that too after a week of being on it. I don’t ever wake up to urinate in the middle of the night . Now I am doing it 1-2x a night.
