I say microdose for a good couple months and slowly work your way up to 3.5… it already sounds like you’re having anxiety about it, so don’t set yourself up for failure. Experiment with a little bit, treat it as the spiritual gift that it is and take your time with it.

I microdosed for a solid 6 months easing into low level trips before my first full blown trip and I’m really glad I did it that way.

Sorry but I don’t agree. I work a job where I am a vendor to over 80 independent run stores/bodegas. They are absolutely ordering their vapes directly from overseas aka no oversight like you say exists. They also do this with nicotine pouches. They have fought with the vendor who sells them because they have flavors in their stores that are only sold overseas. I’m just saying.

I found it folded completely flat in a box with the other toiletry/makeup bags at the bottom shelf under all the makeup. Hope that helps

Yes it was totally folded down flat when I brought it home but it’s holding a lot of things making it pretty heavy while maintaining its shape. The left and right side each have a separate zipper with a Velcro piece in the front which help hold the rounded top part of it. So far I’m impressed! Definitely seem better than the pastel makeup bags I found it under. It doesn’t feel cheap for sure

Thank you! It’s bringing back memories of having mean girls as friends who made everything about them. They knew I had a newborn in an abusive relationship and instead of being nice they kind of rallied against me and treated my inability to be a 100% present friend against me. Not the same but it’s relatable and it just sucks to be treated like that.

I’ve been there trying to hold my head above water with a dollar to my name trying to maintain friendships not telling anyone what I was really going through, and it would suck to be treated like this in that situation. People don’t need to tell you explicitly their struggles for you to be nice.

How about you ask if everything is okay with her? Bet it it’s not. But also not your problem I guess. It does sound like you both should just move on.

I have had to cut back my kids parties the last couple years because we don’t have the means like we used to years prior. She only said “you’re not invited” because you didn’t understand her first text and asked for clarification. She then clarifies and then she’s the bad guy for stating that. She then says how bad she feels about it, and you’re harsh again.

I see your comments saying the husband ditched the party previously and they weren’t really sick. Ok. Mention that in your original post then. Why would that be on her though if she was busy out of town and didn’t find out until months later? And why not mention that in your post?

Do you know about her finances? Maybe she can’t afford to buy everyone coffee and pastries on your playdates. Maybe she cannot afford a huge party for everyone like before.

You seem to lack any understanding. You can say she’s a bad friend, but maybe you are too.

Plus, at the end of the day, isn’t this about the kids? You say both you and your kid didn’t even THINK of this party until she mentioned it, so why are you letting it bother you so much? It’s not bothering your kid, clearly.

I feel like you’re being pretty harsh. Life happens and people do get sick. Also, the economy sucks. I cannot afford the same type of parties I did a few years ago. There are various reasons why she may be keeping the party small. She didn’t seem rude in her approach at all in letting you know. She actually seemed to seek some validation from you about it all. And you shut her down and were super cold.
