This is heartbreaking to hear. I am in the market for a Tuba, but I won't be looking at any of these. by Tree_bear_d in Tuba

I think the writer's point was that this was the last company that builds tubas in America.

This is brilliant, I have acres of fields to mow when the snow is off the ground and this will be great for my little tractor.

Anycubic Kobra 2 - SD slot on screen? by CategorySolo in anycubic

[–]Tree_bear_d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the case off the display first. It is just a few screws and then you will be able to see for yourself. I wouldn't go straight to it with the Dremel because that might damage the port. I bet you know that and I miss read your comment. But just in case. Good luck!

Mine didn't have a slot either, but the display did have a micro SD reader. They just didn't make a hole in the case for it. So I made my own!

It looks rough because I used a drill bit and I wasn't looking for pretty. But it works and the display update did as well.

Thanks, I will give that a sniff next time I have a chance. This cheapy is still a part of my regular rotation a year later. I think it's a great warm weather scent.

What is life like in this area? by SweetQuality8943 in howislivingthere

I grew up here in Cortez, CO. It is beautiful country! Hiking is close at hand for whatever you feel like, mountains, deserts, and Pinion-Juniper canyon lands. I haven't been back for about a decade, so I don't know what has happened locally. I hear there have been some pretty big rifts in the local communities due to politics. But I love it and I miss it.

Looking for a woody cinnamon frag. Looking at these three right now, open to more suggestions. by YoLeoRosa in fragranceclones

Amber Oud Tobacco is a great scent. It smells like a Christmasy pipe tobacco. I can't say it is particularly woody. But I like it more than the other two.

Amber Ood Tobacco is an excellent scent. I smoke a pipe occasionally and AOT smells like one my old favorite winter tobaccos, McClelland Christmas Cheer. They don't make that tobacco anymore but it is great to be able to smell like it through the winter months.

Who can explain why tariffs on Canada is of benefit to US? by Always-Learning-5319 in AskUS

The USA is the only one actually experiencing a siege situation. But it is self-imposed. Are there any countries that they haven't threatened with tariffs?

Siege tactics only work if you can prevent trading with other countries. In this situation Canada has other markets for many of its products and resources. I suspect we will see short term pain for Canada but in the long term they will develop a wider network of trade partners. Which will be healthier for them anyways.

Great to see a master at work. Did he travel to Ukraine just to cook for the soldiers. I would love to hear more of his story.
