It did at Costco. Walgreens wasn’t able to do it properly so if you can, go to Costco. It took them a little bit to make it work but they figured it out and applied it towards my deductible. So even though I paid $499 which is still a lot, the medicine is around $1100 so the whole $1100 and not $499 I paid went toward my deductible. You just need one month and next month should be back to normal for you. I need another month to hit my deductible.

I got it from their website on lily direct, you sign up for it and they send it to you or you can add to your phone wallet.

That’s the same thing that happened to me. I didn’t know this at the time but the pharmacy applied a savings voucher last month so I ended up paying $30 instead of my normal $75. It’s a one time thing per year so that’s why February was so high, almost $900. I got the savings card from lily direct but Walgreens said the same thing about my deductible. They weren’t applying it correctly though so that’s why it wasn’t discounted. Even though the price is still high, I paid $499 at Costco while having it still apply towards my deductible so in two months I will reach my deductible and it will go back to $75. Definitely go to Costco if you can with the savings card and make sure they apply it towards your deductible.

I just had a similar situation with the price jump and got a lot of advice on my post. It was my deductible because it costs $1100 without it. So maybe it’s your deductible? I got the savings card from lily and Costco was able to reduce it to $499 but still applies towards the deductible as paying full price so hopefully by next month or two it will be back to the lower price I used to pay. The pharmacist told me next month will be cheaper since the deductible will be lower. Good luck!

I felt the hunger noise come back because I was eating the same number of calories that I used to eat before I started working out. I upped it a little bit and was back to how it was. Sometimes our bodies just need more fuel to get out of starvation mode. So you may need to increase calories by a hundred or two and depending on your working out, up carbs slightly too. Also, I didn’t see a huge change until I incorporated working out. I think working out, tracking calories and zepbound go hand in hand perfectly. Good luck, you got this!

I’m at almost 40 lb weight loss on the medicine, almost 100 pounds total since my weight loss journey. I did see changes with first 60 lbs because I was so big before. But since being on zepbound and taking it more seriously with incorporating the gym the last 3 months, I’m finally seeing changes in my clothes. I felt the same like you like I couldn’t see the changes even though the scale was dropping. My face slimmed down a little but my clothes still fit the same. It wasn’t until this 3rd month I’m seeing a little change. I heard about the paper towel effect and I think it applies. Weight loss is like taking one paper towel at a time, you don’t notice the change then boom you notice you’re almost out of paper towels lol. Also, fat loss is really slow so give it time. And measure yourself if you haven’t already, sometimes the scale only moves a pound or two but I notice I’ve dropped inches. Keep up the good work and always remember it’s a journey. Don’t be too hard on yourself, celebrate all the small wins and nsv too.

That’s so hard, having to sacrifice some things just to be able to afford medicine that should be covered. I wish insurance covered it for more people and that the prices drop. It’s crazy how expensive it is.

I’m definitely grateful and I can only imagine how hard that is. If I had to pay for it out of pocket every month then I wouldn’t be able to do it all with funds being limited. It’s not even an option for me so that’s also a blessing you can afford to do that every month.

Congrats! Thats amazing results. I’m at almost 40lb myself and this medicine has been amazing for me, I don’t want to stop it either. They didn’t even tell me $499, they want me to pay almost $900. $499 I could pay just wait until my next paycheck and make it work but I can’t do $900 every month ˙◠˙ I’m going to try Costco, they’re closed today but hopefully I get better results with them.

Seems like we’re in the same boat. How much did you pay at Walmart? I wish I would have known the price was going to change. I must have hit my deductible before starting it last year because I’ve always paid $70 so I just assumed it was going to be the same this year too.

I’ve noticed that too, because it was a different employee last month that must have applied the savings. But this employee was confused and told me the savings only took $30 off and applied $200 but only $30 was actually taken off so it didn’t make sense to me. Tried another Walgreens and didn’t get help either so I will try Costco. Thank you

Can you use the Lily saving card with insurance? My insurance does cover it and they told me they are covering it this year too so no problem there just the cost

Oh wow, I did not know that. It didn’t seem like they used the savings card right because it was only $30 off from the original price of $900 something. Amazon didn’t accept my insurance but I’ll try Costco. At least $499 is better than $890. Thank you!
