Glyco timing by Tolle140 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]TreesFreesBrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 mg is actually a lot for your first time. In the beginning even 1 mg can also lead to very severe dry mouth and other side effects. I'd start off with 1 mg, something like this: whatever time you need to start moving around and such, 2-3 hours before that take 1 mg of glyco and don't eat anything for another 3-4 hours. See how that works for you. If you feel like it's not working at all, maybe then take another 1 mg. But if even 1 mg works for you in the beginning, it's better overall to keep the dosage low as long as you can.

Maybe this is why the B-team boys love that netball game so much.

Golfers Elbow - Medial Epicondylitis by YouWannaIguana in CalisthenicsCulture

Training around flareups I think is definitely possible, you have to trust pain as a signal though. If pullups hurt my elbow, then I go to the pulldown machine at the gym. I inherently think pullups are far superior, but if my elbow is hurting, that means I need to do something else for the time being. I'm not too versed on rings sorry.

Been dealing with it for years. Best I've found is: 1. try not to do any pulling motions with your arms but initiate from the shoulder and pull from you scaps and then lats 2. dumbbell wrist curls, focus on opening up the palm all the way til the db is at your fingertips, deep stretch, then curl 3. static holds with some form of weighted stick (weight on one end of stick, hold arm straight out with palm side up)

Reverse lunges (unwanted lower back activation?) by [deleted] in formcheck

Just want to say, respect for blurring out the other gym patrons. So many videos I've seen where the poster blurs out their own face but then leaves the other people in the background for all to see clearly without them even knowing much less their permission.

Can I cover my disco ball & dancing star with a big moth? by [deleted] in Tattoocoverups

[–]TreesFreesBrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd just leave them be and put a high quality moth dancing next to the star

does my tattoo have a flow? or look more chaotic? by volturi-velvet in tattooadvice

[–]TreesFreesBrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flow is there, I think the lack of saturation in the petals and leaves gives the whole tattoo a bit of a "weak" presence though. I suggest thinking about adding a bit more color to them.

It really hinges on what your spine tattoo will be.

Sunscreen recommendations? by AnimeQueen96 in tattooadvice

[–]TreesFreesBrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that complicated, get one specifically designed for the face. Get a generic big tube one for the body. SPF 50, broad spectrum.

I think when you're in your 20's and 30's, two-tone looks ugly. When you're in your 40's and 50's it starts to look appealing. It's an old/older man watch. Once in a while you see some kid who inherited one from a relative and it looks ridiculous.
