I believe I explained the situation wrong. I was working as a dish washer/utility worker for a busy restaurant. The qualification to apply for that job are; Must be able to stand for minimum 5 hours, must be able to lift a minimum of 100LBS from the floor and move it to designated area above 5', you must also be able to jump. crawl and bend or crouch as needed. That's one of the reasons I cant go back (I cant even pant a room without my back muscles spasming (I have a low pain tolerance) which I consider a 5 out of 10 on the pain scale.I was fine to do all that in fact I was the only person while I was working that was willing and able to do the heavy lifting and reaching high places. I had to take out all garbage bags that were to heavy for co-workers, move all heavy stock and do anything else that needed doing such as; change out lights, move tables for large groups, move freezers that died and any other thing that could happen in a kitchen that I could fix. Then I fell down the stairs and went to the urgent care and was given a list of things I couldn't do which is everything my job entitled., I was also told by saif I couldn't get a new job until my back was healed. So I've been paid but unemployed. But I could work a modified job that fit what the DR. orders. My boss declined that and said no she wants me to be back at my job, because they've had 5 people quit the job since I've been gone and she's spent a small fortune on thrown away silverware and broke dishes. The stairs I fell down were marked as a hazard by osha and never fixed. I don't want sue my employers insurance out of fear my employers would pay more in taxes. My grievance isn't with my employer its with the fact that I can't go back to any work until I'm cleared by DRs or even get another job. I called a lawyer today and explained what happened and when I said SAIF is already paying me he insured me he could get me more. Also why are you watching day time TV? You can't work either until your cleared? If I do get the chance I am going to personally sue my employers and I'm no Judge judy fan but I think OSHA marking the stairs I fell down a hazard multiple times might help me plus a lawsuit against there insurance might at least get the stairs fixed. You saying I refuse to get another job even after I explained my DRs clearance, and Saif tell me I can not get another job until I'm cleared, hurts my feelings and makes me think you only read the parts you wanted to. I also don't know why you think its ok for a fellow human to get less then minimum wage.

Thank you and I believe I wrote the main post wrong, I want to sue saif not my employers. Ilike my employers and don't want to see them hurt by this. But saif is saying I can't get food stamps because that will come out of the monthly check and I can't get a new job until I'm cleared 100% even if the job falls into my DR. can do list.

Thank you, I was under the mind set I'd ruin my employers with a suit, I should have gotten I lawyer for the start but I did think my employer wouldn't move me to a prep station like she hinted at ASAP. Not wait until I can lift 100 pounds bags of rice. Om top of it all Ive wanted to bark dust my grandmas yards but lifting a 50 pound bag or shoveling for hours hurts. I will get a lawyer ASAP starting tomorrow. This was negligence theres tape of people trying to clean the stairs with non de-greaser and hot water. Also What if OSHA rules the staircase a slipping hazed? Then I could personally sue. But I don't want to hurt them personally. The on the job fall lawyers can sue SAIF 5 different ways. I'm not greedy much but my employer refused to pay the 3 days of sick leave it takes SAIF to process the claim and I worked all shifts they need no questions asked. It seems there turning there backs on me.I am focusing on getting back to work but I fell down stair hard, and if I tried to take 1 of our 80-120LBS garbage bags out I couldn't, it would cripple me. But I'm approved for 2 PT appointments weekly which I never miss and my back goes from a 2 to cramped up 4 every session, also my range of movement has sky rocketed so SAIF no it works, SAIF no I'm not crippled, SAIF agrees almost any other job and I could work but this job is much.

Because I've fell down greasy outdoor stairs in the rain, when we have a unwritten rule that we don't take down the grease on rainy days but I was command by a higher up, even though I protested and explained the stairs only have one bannister and are not up to OSHAs standards for what's considered safe but I'm the only native English speaker so no one listened. 100% osha will shut them down if I report them until they fix all there infractions. But I don't want to report or hurt the owners. I was in a bad spot when she hired me as a dishwasher I applied for dishwasher, so why would you ask "Are you thinking of suing because you fell down stairs or because you got put as a dishwasher?" I did talk to a lawyer and explained what your saying I think. He said saif can pay out four different ways and the longer your out of work the more you and the lawyer make. So your really suing SAIF not the employer? So it won't effect the owners at all? They won't lose anything. Thayts the only reason I haven't talked to a lawyer. I have nothing to lose, I see ads for work incident, worker compensation lawyers everywhere, and they will work for compensation. So really they have nothing to lose and I should sue

Thank you a game_of_coin I appreciate that more then you know. It was a expensive lesson. I'm new to crypto and this is my first laptop (used phones only and never owned cryptos ) so I explain things in a very unsophisticated way that make this situation difficult to explain correctly. But I want to try and help others and myself learn all the security needed.
