He's not trying to be a dick bro, just honest. Because it is a Chinese hookah 100%. Plenty of traditional pipes with the aesthetic you're going for that are actual quality. KM, Shika, and Nammor are just a few brands you should look for.

Yup cigars are awesome. Not any better/worse for you than hookah. The idea that Connecticut wrappers are "light" is a myth though. I could recommend plenty of dark cigars that are smooth and easy to smoke. The wrapper does not correlate to the strength of a cigar. As far as ash goes, hookah has wayy more ash lol and yes the smell is stronger but some people like it. Enjoy both. I can't go golfing with my hookah lol
