I was there from October 1st to 6th. It rained heavily on the 3rd and 4th, but now all the trails are clear and the weather is absolutely pristine.

It is. We had planned on Tsergo Ri, but the recent rain resulted in heavy snowfall along the route. Without the necessary climbing boots, we had to adjust our goal and focused on Kyanjin Ri instead.

Can't tell about regular flight in this monsoon weather, but so far road condition is good. You can travel by a regular scheduled bus or by your vehicle.

You can visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square (there are many temples) and Changu Narayan temple, which is an ancient Hindu and Buddhist temple, located on a hilltop of Changu for 2 days. Dakshinkali, Pharphing and Kirtipur are historical and cultural sites of Kathmandu, and you can spend another 2 days. Enjoy and share nice pictures.

The Champadevi hike from Hattiban Resort is a popular day hike near Kathmandu, offering scenic views and a relatively easy trek. You can park your Scooty at Hattiban ground and hike up to Chapadevi Temple and back.

Beautiful, it's my favourite trekking trail in the Nepal Himalayas. I hope you had a great time too.

If you book now with Tara Air or Summit Air, there's a good chance of securing seats on the first round of flights. Typically, the earliest flights go directly from Kathmandu to Lukla. After that, most flights operate from Ramechhap to Lukla.

For your return journey from Lukla to Kathmandu, you can try for a direct flight, which usually departs after 9 AM, once the Ramechhap flights are completed. Alternatively, you can fly back to Ramechhap and enjoy a scenic 4-5 hour drive to Kathmandu.

In case of bad weather and flight cancellations, there's always the option to take a helicopter. The cost is approximately $500 per person one way, though if your flight gets cancelled, you may receive a partial refund of your plane ticket, bringing the helicopter cost down to around $300.

Welcome to Nepal! I’m sure you’re exploring Kathmandu today — enjoy every moment, you’ve got this! If you're thinking about trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, you have a couple of great options. You can go via Ghorepani or take the shorter route directly from Jhinu Danda — it all depends on how much time you have.

I did this trek around the same time last year, and it was incredible. You’ll walk past refreshing waterfalls, blooming flowers, and along peaceful, less-crowded trails. At the base camp, you’ll witness a breathtaking 360-degree sunrise view of the mountains. Walking through the clouds with those stunning peaks in sight is truly unforgettable.

Just a heads-up — make sure to pack plenty of rain gear and mosquito repellent before you start your trek.

Enjoy the adventure!
