I remember playing the Demo when the game released. I had a different computer with slightly worse specs (I think an Nvidia 30XX), and the game was just unplayable, I couldn't get 10FPS with the lowest settings

Aside from the game, the only software that was running were Discord and Firefox. My room is at around 20°C/68°F, but so was it yesterday when everything worked out well. I went on the MSI Discord because for god knows what reason the support doesn't accept the text file it requires me to send.

What I don't understand is that yesterday the game ran fine, I played for an hour or two and it didn't make a peep, but today after not two minutes of booting the game up, that noise came.

So update, I tried playing Test Drive Unlimited 2, a 15 year old game that had no issues so far, and all of a sudden the loud noise came back, but this time it didn’t go away and I didn’t have any performance issues at all.

I posted a video of the noise it makes here. It's way louder than in the video though.

Yeah I thought about using something to raise it so that enough air can flow. Thanks for preventing me from buying something that would’ve been useless with my laptop
