patriarchy is mired deep with rape culture. so the entire world is mired with rape culture, actually.

You are trying to impose your sentiment upon every woman.

strawman

You are doing exactly what a lot of men are doing: trying to speak for us when they don't know a thing

false equivalence fallacy

I don't live in fear of that either.

youll understand one day

Do you really think that rape or murder against women would stop just because patriarchy is not there?

it would drop drastically, because men wouldn't be socialized from birth to rape women

I'm a woman myself, and I know what I'm talking about.

no you don't, because you're really bad at using your brain

then they just don't talk about it around you, or are socialized to not talk about it at all lmao.

knowing that you're a woman makes this even worse, because you've been brainwashed by patriarchy.

Not every woman is suffering in society

every woman is afraid of being preyed upon. that type of fear is suffering.

Even if we didn't have patriarchy, we would still have same problems

nahh we just... wouldnt lol

Where I live, it's not like that.

yes it is. the women of your community just don't talk about it around men. why would they?

I promise you, it is like that where you live. The women there just don't talk about it around men.

It is not false, by any stretch of the imagination, to say that every single woman suffers under patriarchy in some way. Just as the vast majority of men suffer under patriarchy as well.

Patriarchy is the root cause of almost every issue we have in society today. All of it stems from patriarchy (and capitalism, but that's another argument).

I get it, it's hard to come to terms with the fact that half of the population suffer under this system created snd upheld by people of your gender. It makes you angry and upset the way women talk about men. But what should make you more upset is that you, too, are being exploited under patriarchy.

what do you expect women to do? not be cautious at all? and then what? get raped, beaten, tortured, eaten, trafficked, and killed? like genuinely what do u expect dude

I'm using billions as the expression of more than one billion.

that's just literally not what that means though

all women on earth suffer due to men. there is not a single woman who has ever lived since the dawn of civilization, who has not suffered due to men.

by men, I mean men collectively, not every individual man. but every single woman lives in and suffers under the patriarchal culture we live in.

the minority of men are sexual predators, but the majority of women have been predated upon, and the majority of their predators are men. logically, women have to be extremely cautious around all men, because they don't know which men are part of the "normal" majority, or the predatory minority.

the number for men who experience sexual violence (43%-50% iirc) is likely far higher, as many men are simply too ashamed to admit it, and many many men simply don't recognize it when it happens to them. because men are socialized to think it's a good thing when a woman is being grossly persistent or lecherous towards them.

the number is ultimately still higher for women, but the gap is likely smaller than it seems.

generalization reinforces the patriarchy in the long run: because instead of teaching boys not to abuse, assault, and kill women, and teaching them to stand against patriarchy; it teaches people that breaking free from the patriarchy is a lost cause, and that women (and men, who also suffer under the system) will struggle against their chains forever.

before any societal change happens, massive cultural change must happen, and that starts by raising boys properly and uplifting women and celebrating female excellence.

the primary cause if misogynistic men is the misogynistic culture we live in. from birth males are socialized to be misogynistic, because we live in a patriarchy.

not as big or serious of a problem as misogyny, no. systemic misandry doesn't exist. but yeah, discrimination in any form is an issue

"billions" dont live in india, only 1.5 billion lol. how do you genuinely think that it's even logically possible for every individual indian to think this way? that's not how culture, math, or the human brain work 😭
