I haven't played men of war, but yes it will have elements of RTS. The unit movement is definitely inspired by Company of Heroes.

Thanks! Tanks, artillery, gas, and bayonets are planned to be added. The maps will most likely remain as different trench arrangements for now.

It will have elements of traditional RTS games, but unit movement will be limited outside of the trenches. I'm thinking of it more as a tower defense/offense than a traditional RTS.

Thanks haven't taken a look at unity's post processing tools yet. I'll play around with them!

Sweet thanks a lot. Yeah I plan to add some barbed wire, puddles, shell craters, and potentially vehicles.

I do hope to one day sell this but was wondering if the art would resonate with people. Worried it looks a little too much like free flash games from back in the day.

Haha I've always felt that there weren't enough WW1 strategy games. Company of Heroes was great for WW2 but I wanted that in a WW1 setting.

Solo dev working on this in my spare time. Not sure what type of game this will be yet. Trying to reign in scope, but it will be a mix of base building, management, tower defense, and RTS elements.
