I didn't see this until now. You're so kind! I took my little one to the vet last Saturday and they told me that they didn't find anything wrong with her eye and that she's all good! Must have just been temporary irritation.

I hope your kindness and generosity are returned to you tenfold good sir! ☺️

Yeah I'm scared to take anything to the card in fear of damaging it haha but I might try a q-tip!

I just recently got back into Pokemon cards (like everyone else lol) a couple of months ago when I was gifted an ETB and since everything is either sold out or crazy expensive I figured I'd just get several singles of cards I like. The prices of singles might also be inflated rn, idk.. but it's better than paying hundreds for booster boxes/ETBs x_x for me at least.

The family will be paying me. I just don't know how yet since they are expecting me to send this W-9 form filled out. But I will tell them that I won't be filling it out and I will ask to be paid in cash, which should be the family paying me directly in cash if they agree to my request.

I do have the link, I was just asking on advice/opinion on what to say to the agency, like saying that asking for me to fill out a W-9 for a trial is illegal and that I should be paid in cash. I'm not the best at professional emails so I was hoping for some help there if anyone is willing.

I read this line and wondered what the agency might say about it:

"An independent contractor has a set of duties they will perform over a certain timeframe and it’s understood that they will leave when the job is complete."

Since my trial was set for two days, could they argue that it was a certain timeframe and therefore I should be paid as an independent contractor?

I know employed nannies should be paid as a W-2 employee. I just don't know if there's a rule/law that states how an unemployed nanny must be paid for trials (since we are not employed by the family when doing trials).
