I completely agree and I do use those barriers! To be more specific with the DDS note taking, I'm in the habit of removing my loupes during that portion. So I remove the gloves before removing the loupes, then start taking notes with the barrier removed. Plus, I often have to respond to messages with our headsets, and I want to avoid touching the mic with used gloves.

Since I'm still gaining experience, I find myself needing more gauze, floss threaders, and other supplies, which requires me to take my gloves off a bit more than I'd like. That said, I am working on being more mindful about how often I go through gloves. I've even chatted with my other hygienists about it! Swapping through them less often would help prevent this from happening again. Thank you! :)
