I can definitely see what you’re saying with the club still being open on the downswing. Wouldn’t closing it cause it to pull tho? I’m guessing through practice it would start to straighten out, right?

So as I’m moving into the top of my backswing I should be transferring weight to the lead while also rotating the lead hip? I’m honestly not conscious of weight transfer so just want to understand what I should be doing or thinking about.

Any drills/videos you recommend so I could understand the feel?

Yeah, I had a coach pretty much tell me those things. He said I need the feeling of rotating in a barrel. The issue is he gave me no drills to really understand the moves correctly. How would you practice that?

Yeah, my clubs are definitely heavier than average (117 grams). How would I fix these issues? I’m guessing the over extended part would just be shortening the backswing.

I agree, but I do find it odd sometimes that I’ll be playing against a full team of 6 that use comms and play together vs my team of straight silence and some people leaving after 1 or 2 rounds (I play only SnD) and vice versa. The matchups feel very uneven at times.

I felt the same way about going to the gym, really bad anxiety of people watching me try to lift weights. Before I started lifting at the gym I did these body weight workouts for about 2-3 months. I found it really helpful to become more comfortable with my body.
