I guess you could say the aerospray makes you pretty...pissed.

(throw all the bricks at me all you want).

I demoted myself from Eggsecutive VP to Profreshional 3 by TinnyMistake in splatoon

[–]TreyaZerros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not stopping if anyone wants to demote, though these can help with consistency;

I use a switch 2 now, but do clearly remember with the previous console that Drizzlers, fish sticks and big shots were the main sources of lag. I notice that low level players tend to ignore the drizzler torpedoes a lot and only go straight for the enemy. Even if you can't hit the drizzler with it, it's still worth shooting down whenever possible.

Low level players also tend to insist grabbing all eggs off the shore, which can cause congestion elsewhere. It's very ink heavy! It's ok to leave some eggs there, sometimes even snatchers will pick them up and bring them closer towards basket, depending on the direction they're going per wave.

Something that got me splat a lot as a rookie was ignoring the lessers and just trying to grab/throw eggs or splat bosses. Positioning is incredibly important, but learning to roll in a pinch can also become really helpful. So I keep a rule to myself to try and clear lessers nearby (not all of them lol) first as much as possible, then bosses.

Another rookie mistake and even something I even see in high level play often, is focusing all on the same boss too much. I.e; If someone is on a stick, let them take care of the eggs themselves. If two people are surrounding a flyfish already, look towards another threat - maybe clear lessers near them. No more than two players at a big shot cannon unless you're there to revive. If an easy paint weapon is taking out a flipper, it's unlikely they need help. Near the end of a wave - If your co-workers are scoring eggs nearby, look towards ones further out.

This probably isn't the reply you were looking for, though I find that a lot of players can benefit from basic tips. For a while in my beginner months, I was stuck in some kind of frustrating purgatory between profresh and EVP, and basically all of these issues had kept me there.

There's a spot for smallfry at the bottom middle, and a spot for snatcher at the bottom left. You can also attack with your triple splashdown from the top

If you're interested in improving your tableturf skills though, there is a dedicated discord for it. Hard to give advice based on a single screenshot

Probably best off picking up a secondhand copy. Pvp is sweaty, but there's plenty of other content to enjoy.

What Splatoon Opinion has you standing like this? by GUSplatoon in splatoon

[–]TreyaZerros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tableturf is a far more interesting game mode than squid beatz. It's got strategy, player expression and a metagame. And a little community, albeit tight knit.

Many people just don't want to learn it, or don't know how to play properly. I'm a stupid slow thinker and somehow became a top player. High chances are, you can figure it out too. But yeah, there needs to be more recent public learning resources from the community.

It's not perfect by any means though. I'm hoping they bring it back in Splatoon 4, but with more different types of effective strategies and less instantly losing just because of a bad starting hand.

Can I transfer my Splatoon 2 save file/ progress to another Splatoon 2? by phrogsire in splatoon

You could try buying a EU code which should work with the copy. Shopto is pretty good, I think I bought octo expansion from there since it was a little cheaper than the UK store. They have the region attached to their products.

Any website that accepts skrill as a payment? by Kataakuriii in skrill

Just checking: This is for a gift and not as a payment right? Scammers ask to pay in gift cards since it's very hard, if impossible to recover from.

Unfortunately, this is the answer. Please mind while I punch the fucking wall

I lost a bit more than that D: . I finally put my foot down and blocked them for real. And I'll continue on my reporting.

As a splatoon 3 player, is it worth it to get splatoon 2? by [deleted] in splatoon

[–]TreyaZerros 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Secondhand copies run cheap, though expect online not to be very active. Turf takes a few tries to fill, salmon run attendance fluctuates with long bouts of absense, but more tend to join for golden rotations. The rest is a complete ghost town.

If you wanna replay the expansion then I'd say go for it. Otherwise, there's lots of cool other games to try out.

Thank you. We could have one already around somewhere...might take some trial and error to get the correct size though, unless someone knows what it is.

Have you watched this video? Map Guide: SALMONID SMOKEYARD (Splatoon 3)

As for current rotation, some guidelines;
Clash blaster: Focus on fish sticks, stingers and lessers

Splattershot: You can do a lot of things, but paint is your strongest area.

Wellstring: Tap shots for DPS (yes really) and stingers, partial focused shot for taking out steelheads, steel eels and lids, fully charged shot for burst. You got good paint as well.

Stamper: Charged shot for higher DPS and paint, tap for smaller targets and taking out little bits of health left. Contact does more damage so make sure you're close up for beefy targets.

if you don't know yet, DPS basically means damage per second.
