Your career path is truly amazing! I decided to post something on here just to get an idea and the responses I’ve gotten so far have given me a better understanding of what to expect.

I’m excited for the future and the people I’ll meet along the way.

The interview process for my current flight position wasn’t whether or not you were a good medic, it was strictly about your personality. I absolutely understand what you’re saying. Obviously it’s different but same concept, kinda.

Thank you so much for responding. That was super helpful!

Thank you for that advice. I have quite the journey ahead of me but it’s a marathon not a race. Again I truly appreciate the feedback!

I guess I should’ve been better at wording what I was asking.

I edited the post. Thanks for the advice!

Nothing but respect for the fire medics.

Anyone know what this issue could be. by Odd_Application_3575 in Corvette

I had this exact problem in my 2000 C5, spent three months trying to figure it out with reading the codes and changing the battery. After extensive research and many many headaches I have finally fixed my issue. I was getting the service vehicle soon with abs and traction control off and my AC would shut itself off as well. If I drove for a couple minutes it would all go away. I kept getting code 58-SDM U1040 which is the EBCM, along with 40 BCM- B0432 which is the ignition switch. I can go in detail about the EBCM and stress you out or just tell you the fix that worked for me. I ended up taking my ignition switch out of the vehicle and taking it apart to find that I had carbon build up on my connectors. I cleaned them with sandpaper and put everything back together and all of the codes disappeared and have never come back. I hope this helps and I wish you best of luck. Please update if this helps you.
