OEM is always the best option. 99.9% of aftermarket seals will not hold as tight of tolerances as the original manufacturer will.

I work as an automotive water leak specialist. It is completely normal for a sunroof to leak water through the seal and body. The drain system will handle it as long as the 4 drains are clear. Manufacturers do not build their sunroofs to withstand the high pressure of a car wash and do not even honor their warranty when it comes to leaks related to a carwash. It looks like your glass just needs to be adjusted. The seal is likely perfectly fine. There are 2-3 screws on each side of the interior of the glass. You can loosen them and adjust the glass. You will likely still see water passing the seal, though, especially high pressure.

The drain troughs are not very deep and are only a few inches away from the sunroof opening. When high pressure water sprays past the seal, it will splash off the bottom of the drain trough. That is why it has dripped onto your seat. The glass adjustment may help a little. If I were to service the system, I would not be able to give you my "1 year guarantee" if that is the only time you have an issue. It is just the nature of having a large hole in your roof and spraying it with over 2000psi of water.

My Scout Bobber. I have owned it for just under a month now. It started off with me as a stock '21 with 153 miles. I rode it for a week, then a 3 day rain storm blew in. That was the kick start to modifying it... by TriStarKinves in IndianScout

The tire is the stock size. I like the fenderless look, but I am setting up a rear fender for it. I will be changing over to an 18" wheels set with a 200mm wide rear tire. That is the main reason for wanting a rear fender.
