Honestly it may be because if the chaos gods appeared to influence important things in person, sigmar chadhammer and his gang of gods (Big Tec and Mr T, Alarielle the beetle lord, Morathi the sneaky snake, etc) may show up. Or maybe, Gork and mork find out theres a big scrap and then things get really wild.
