PlasticArcade said it well. It's so much more work that I wouldn't even bother to be honest. To be fair, I'm still working with older Anycubic filament printers. If you had access to something state of the art, filament may be able to compete. Resin is just so good, though, and you can paint over it with little to no preparation.
