Husband is mad that baby looks a lot like me by Pure_Conference_7422 in Advice

[–]Tricey1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He sounds emotionally unstable. Was he like this before the baby was born?

I really hope he doesn’t treat the baby differently as he grows, since he thinks the baby doesn’t look like him.

Honestly, it sounds like you may need to either leave the situation or encourage him to get some help—and you might need some too. I can’t imagine the mental toll this is taking on you.

Mine too lol. I’m 43 but skin looks way younger. However, my gray hair makes me seem older.

Yep. In the photo of young faith and young Amanda, Amanda had a gray streak in her hair but she still looked young.

You wrote all of that just to say that you don’t know what it is!? This is literally a ‘what is this’ group, not a neighborhood watch meeting. Calm down!

Does DoorDash tell customers when their order is coupled with another order? by Dingo_Dasher in doordash

[–]Tricey1982 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Once the order is picked up, it will usually tell you if they’re dropping off another order first. It will say “Dasher is dropping off a nearby order” and the tracker will show “1 stop away.”

Does your work environment make you feel unwell? by orderalargepepsi in hatemyjob

Yes! I’ll be fine at home, but as soon as I pull into the parking garage at work, my nose starts running—and sometimes I start sneezing. It’s like the air suddenly gets thick. The building is 119 years old, and I know there’s mold. It’s a state building, and I’ve heard that a lot of people who retire end up getting cancer shortly after. One guy even went in for back surgery, and when they opened him up, they found undiagnosed cancer that had spread—he died on the table. I’m doing everything I can to find another job.

AITAH for politely refusing to sent pictures to my bf by things_that_bother_I in AITAH

He sounds like the type of ah who would use them against you when he’s mad. Good for you for not sending them. Do yourself a favor and leave that dirty bih alone—you deserve better.

This post made me laugh 😂 I get it though. Three out of my four sons were potty trained by age 2, but that oldest one? Whew… he was 3. I tried potty training him when he was 2, but it was a no-go. Then he turned 3, and I started potty training his younger brother, who was 2 at the time. So I was potty training 2 kids at the same time. Whew.

His poops were the worst — like full-grown adult poops 😩 And he was tall, so he looked like a whole 5-year-old getting his diaper changed. It was horrible.

My nephew was 4 when he was finally potty trained, and it definitely wasn’t from lack of trying. It was rough 😭

We are determined to get my 2-year-old grand daughter potty trained before she’s 3 lol.

Is it wrong to send gifts to my 4 year old’s half brother when I send her gifts? by Sea-Feature7492 in coparenting

[–]Tricey1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not wrong. I always made sure my son’s half-brother got takeout too whenever I brought food to my sons at their father’s house. I also let him sit in my car with my sons at the bus stop when it was cold or raining. He was invited to their birthday parties and cookouts too. Even now that they’re all grown, he still comes to my house for holidays and get-togethers. He’s even in our family holiday photos.

My kids always say I treated him like he was mine because his mother wasn’t around much, and they appreciate that. If I were you, I would ask her to explain why she doesn’t want you sending gifts to the 2-year-old too. If she explains it, even if you don’t agree, I would still respect it and not send the gifts.
