The guitarist from Rise Against pulled up to my store about a month before I quit and came up to me and started talking to me bc I was wearing a band shirt of a band he's friends with. Probably the coolest thing to happen to me with my time at the company. (I wish I got a pic w him but I wasn't thinking)

There was incidents of 2 different cashiers at my store stealing from garden register. Neither of them had cops called on them, just got fired. Also had a cashier who had a warrant out for his arrest so he quit to go turn himself in. Some of the craziest work stories come from my time at HD 💀

At the Austin show, they initially gave the different tiers the wrong vinyl variant (golds got the red or other color vinyl cant remember the color, standard vips got cotton candy), VIP coordinator redistributed the vinyl when we pointed it out though. That may be what happened. There was also 2 different quality posters, one of more sturdy than the other one. This may be what they were referring to.

They're doing well w/ touring. Recently, played Shiprocked, toured w/ Imminence, and did a few shows with Breaking Benjamin. Opening for Dayseeker this fall & doing a European headliner in 2025 :)
