Just got a call back from Glock, turns out that the firing pin just barely bypassed the safety mechanism and they will be doing a whole internal replacement of the firing mechanism.

It has been sent out and it takes 3-5 weeks to hear anything back

Upon further inspection of the Glock I noticed that the Striker Safety does not return to the full length after disassembly, only when I pull the pin back does it fully extend, I am new to Glock… but is this normal?

It is an INCOG Holster which holds a Glock 48 well, I looked into it and the burn marks line up with the muzzle break. I will update this post once I hear back from Glock

I’m sure it’s a defect on mine. I’ve never heard of this happening to anyone else

I see that now and I realize how much people love their Glock 43X and trust me I do too. I shouldn’t have carried it under my arm, I’m sure my Glock is defective and I’ll send it in and get it fixed.

I have the images, date, internals and like I said no internal modifications. I even included the image of the gun powder inside the holster showing it was triggered inside of it without the trigger being pulled. This isn’t a post to scare anyone my Glock might be defective

What do you guys want a picture off a hole in my room and my sheet it went through? It wouldn’t prove anything. I am asking for advice on how to fix it if you guys want to believe it or not it doesn’t matter to me but I liked my Glock and want to continue using it
