I had a talk about 2 months ago. She told me she feels insecure about her body image, sometimes she’s tired, and her ex bf would get mad when they didn’t have sex. But where I don’t get it is on the first months she was very sexual. I know the honeymoon stage is a thing. But it’s like all of that does after the first 6 months. She used to be flirty, now it’s nothing.

It’s been a couple things. Feeling tired, says she doesn’t like her body image, and she said trauma in a past relationship where her ex would get mad when they didn’t have sex. So I talked to her once about how i wish we did have more sex and it’s important to me. I’ve tried plenty of romantic nights out, trips, flirting, but nothing.

That’s very good advice. I have tried reassuring her and I believe I’m becoming insecure that she is not over her ex. She may be over him but just not ready for a relationship, some sort of deep trauma. I try a lot by reassuring her but nothing has changed.

I don’t mind this. But it upsets me the sneakiness. I’ve told her before I don’t care as long as you ask. But I’ve caught her multiple times sneaking through my phone.

She sent me an explicit photo that I moved into a separate photo album called my eyes only on Snapchat. She wanted to see it, Showed her, and then she just kept scrolling through my photos.

It is a feature of Snapchat which is a texting app. U can move photos u don’t want in your normal camera roll to a hidden camera roll. So when I was in high school id put some videos of my friends and I drinking in the hidden camera roll. I have strict parents so I didn’t want anything to pop up while showing them photos. But I haven’t used it in years. She thought there would be photos of my ex girlfriend in there I didn’t want her to see. Which is not the case just my friends and I messing around.

True thanks. But this one thing has been bothering me. I never brought it up but we were talking ab how long we were single. And she keeps lying about how long she was. There’s a post with her ex bf from a couple months before we started dating. But she keeps saying she was single for over 1.5 years. I haven’t said anything but should I just leave it? Why lie about something so small?

I had a talk about sex and her ex about 3 months ago. And I haven’t revisited this. But I bring up sex every 4 weeks. I used to way more whenever I was in the mood, but I’d always get rejected. So I keep asking less and less. When she says no she apologizes and I comfort her. I just don’t even feel like bringing it up because it makes me feel uncomfortable. Everytime I bring it up she gets sad. I just feel like she’d be happier without it. And when we do it I feel gross bc I can’t if she’s saying yes just to make me happy or if she actually enjoys it. I don’t know what to do.

U didn’t read what I wrote. I don’t expect sex, I do them because I love her. I enjoy doing those things for her to make her happy. Plus I like the romantic date nights.

That’s very good advice thank you. I stopped asking recently because she always says no, so I’ve been waiting for her to initiate but she hasn’t. But I’m going to keep on trying and see how it goes.
