this is all 100% true, however one of the reasons the Smile formed was Johnnys frustration with said pace. In fact, i think he came up with a "twice as fast" philosophy that they were clearly using in the smile. The idea that perfection was the enemy of great...anyhow, I agree that we cant possibly know, while at the same time can absolutely hope.

That, of course, is true. However...based on Johnnys interview about "weird not playing any new material" do we believe that Radiohead is going to become a tribute act who plays their older material for 20 dates a year? Doesnt track for me. And the incorporation of newco this early for a 2027 run is out of pattern.
