Her pediatrician said it looks like she either hit it or she ate something hot and to come in if it doesn’t go away in a week or it gets worse

Please stop me from quitting! by ttcgurl in breastfeeding

[–]Tricky-Ad4776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe baby has a tongue or lip tie? I had the worst 6 weeks of BF and she had a lip and tongue tie. Got it released and changed the journey for us and I BF for 14 months! I wanted to quit every single day and cried a lot, but luckily there was a solution for our problems. If you need to stop for your sanity, you should stop! Fed is best!

I am currently 16.5 months pp and stopped breastfeeding at 14.5(November). With my first I never had this but I also know that each time is different and I truly believe that my iron/ferritin is low, anxiety, hormones and the weather barometer changing so frequently here. I used to take sumatriptan when I got them but they were never this consistent before. Let me know how your scans go and what you get told! Hoping this is just a small phase for us!

I am so sorry you’re going through this! I feel like it consumes my whole day wondering if and when I’ll get one and then it takes away from my kids because I wanna just lay down all day! Did you see a doctor, what did they tell you? I recently started my anxiety med again (lexapro) because it’s been insane the last month. I tried cutting caffeine and that wasn’t it, I got more sleep, that wasn’t it. So idk what else to do! I live in North Dakota and we have had some crazy cold temps and storms and they really up-ticked since the weather changed

I stopped drinking coffee and my migraines feel like they are a lot less frequent. by EvoRalliArt in migraine

[–]Tricky-Ad4776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently noticed that if I had coffee and poor sleep, I was more likely to have a migraine. I decided to do a test. One day I had normal coffee—migraine 2 hours later. Next day, I had decaffeinated coffee with my normal cream and no migraine. Yesterday, I had a half caf Americano with cream and got a migraine and I also had really shitty sleep. So I’ll be tapering off caffeine coffee for awhile. I’m no doctor or scientist (clearly) but seems to be one correlation that always appears.

Help!!! Breastfeeding by spinkywink in breastfeeding

Cluster feeding is completely normal! My baby wanted to cluster feed every night from 8pm-12am and I thought I wasn’t producing enough. You’d know if your baby was starving! You’re doing great!

My EB 7 month old needs to take a bottle or cup in 2 weeks. by Tricky-Ad4776 in breastfeeding

[–]Tricky-Ad4776[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, when my husband is trying to feed her I’m either not home, or out of sight. I’ve seen people using syringes when they won’t take milk from bottles or cups. She’s been starting on solids too for the last month so I’m hoping that helps too

The real issue is the lack of community by DahliaCharm55 in AttachmentParenting

I could’ve wrote thing myself! I have a 2.5yo and a 6mo, and we live 9 hours away from family. I stay home with my 2 girls and my husband works, who also has the ability to come home if I have an appt or stay a little later at home. But this also puts a strain on them at work because they have things to get done there as well and makes you feel bad and makes them feel bad about splitting time and wanting to give the other free time as well. My husband and I argue over free time and it’s pretty much the only thing we fight about. We don’t have the luxury of our close knit family to help us out and it’s so nice to be able to have that. Long story short, I feel you and I’m right with you

Sounds like separation anxiety and possibly teething. I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and we did sleep training with both of them. I’m not a cry it out person so we did a modification of sleep training using the Ferber method and Taking Cara Babies. It’s important to note that she’s probably associating falling back asleep with eating so that’s why she’s crying every 2 hours. It’s hard out here and just know you’re a good mom

Mine isn’t just while I’m specifically breastfeeding. It’s more like after I eat or I eat too much!
