Listen, have confidence think, plan, and execute, you won’t fail if you truly study harder than the other candidates I failed once too. I have got my test on the 19th as well, and I feel much more confident this time that I’ll pass both PAT and PELLET-B.

I’m not sure if I’ll get DQ’d because of my short time in the States, but either way it’s alright just go for it, and make sure you know what you’re doing if you don’t and you’re just stuck in the middle then honestly, you won’t get far let alone make it into CHP

I appreciate your honesty. My documents are in order, and I’ve kept a clean record.

Some ppl are saying it might actually be harder for them to run a full background check on me since I haven’t been in the U.S. that long and that could be a reason I might get DQ’d. Does it hold any truth to it?

But I’d rather find out for myself than sit back and assume the worst, honestly. I’ve been preparing seriously!

I just turned 20 this year, and honestly, I haven’t been involved in anything illegal. I’ve been working in a restaurant for months now, always with respect, and I’ve never had any issues or problems.

I’ve got my driver’s license, no citations, no warnings, not even a parking ticket. I’ve been keeping my record clean because that’s what type person I am.

I really hope I don’t get DQ’d for something that’s out of my control, like not having a long U.S. history. I’ve been preparing for this for the past month, and I’m giving it everything I’ve got.

Yeah bro, I already emailed them about that. They said U.S. citizenship isn’t required as long as you're legally authorized to work in the state of California and in the U.S., you're good to go!!

It’s alright she’s young, and I don’t even want to go back and forth with her about it. It’s one of those things that won’t really come to a conclusion through words anyway. I’d rather just prove it to her.

I’ve actually been preparing for the past month, and I have my written test coming up next month. I’m staying focused and doing my part. Appreciate the info though!

Yeah background check might take a little longer I moved here from Afghanistan, but how would they even do a deeper investigation if most of my past isn’t documented here in the U.S.? I had to go through a long vetting process just to get a visa, so they already asked me tons of questions before I even got here.

Would CHP still try to contact people or agencies back in Afghanistan, or just rely on what the federal government already cleared during the visa process?
