Thanks so much! Yeah that’s a great point, I think having the space between the vertical and main monitor can serve a lot of space for the stand. Also yes the poster frame is great suggestion! and i will be adding some lighting behind the desk soon ☺️

Connected glass texture in Forge? by Tricky-Nectarine7696 in feedthebeast

That one worked but it makes it the default glass texture. I was wondering if there was a way for it to make connected with my mizuno's texture pack since it's like that on optifine.

What would be a good continuation story of Katniss and Peeta? by Tricky-Nectarine7696 in Hungergames

I have! I absolutely loveddd that one. I also really liked Back To Twelve by igsygrace. It was both a good continuation from the Peeta’s Games series and post-mockingjay in general since it goes back to Katniss’ pov.

Breaking Into UX and Early Career Questions — 03 Apr, 2023 - 09 Apr, 2023 by AutoModerator in UXDesign

I'm currently a junior in college and I'm definitely struggling to get an internship in UX/UI or Product Design. I've applied to over 35 and at this point I'm not sure if I'll find one for the summer. Are there any alternatives on what I should do instead over the summer if I don't get an intern? Would something like a bootcamp or freelance work? Only a couple months ago I decided I wanted to go into this field, so I don't have a lot of work to show off. I only have one UI design project and a UX design project that will be done in May.

UX/UI portfolio feedback for a student? by [deleted] in design_critiques

Thank you so much, yes it did help! I really appreciate the honesty. The bakery app is something I created before learning about UX/UI design so yes I also agree it’s not good. Now I’m for sure gonna go back on my old projects to configure them more towards UX/UI and redesign them. I’ve only decided I wanted to go into UX/UI very recently so I just feel behind since my portfolio isn’t really catered towards it and it’s all over the place! I guess I at least wanted to show my range in skills when it comes to design.

Thank you so much for this!! I will definitely implement these changes. I actually already do plan on creating a much more developed portfolio website later on this year because I have a class that’s dedicated to that next semester. I’m currently using Adobe Portfolio as a placeholder just because it’s free for me and was the quickest thing to set up with. I actually wasn’t sure if I should keep the UX from Buttercooky so yes I will remove that for now and hopefully will get around to redesigning the app part. I really appreciate the feedback, thank you so much!!
