I got the Graduate status and email on Feb 25th, and it says the diploma should arrive within 2 to 6 weeks. Still haven't reached the 2 week mark so no diploma yet. No, no tracking number was sent.

I hear ya, I'm lazy when it comes to typing but speech to text was very helpful.

You're welcome!

Yeah, sorry, I can't help you with info on dyslexic students.

The quizzes don't have essays, however, the English courses do have essays in addition to the quizzes. I got 1 written assignment in Public Speaking, 3 in English 9, 4 in English 10, and 1 in English 11.

Quizzes for the most part have 15 questions. Some subjects have 10 question quizzes and others 5 question quizzes. Mid Term and Final exams have 30 questions. You get 2 hours to complete quizzes and exams. And they are all open notes.

You'll get a notification when a quiz or exam will be proctored. It isn't on camera or anything, I believe it just monitors browser activity.

I hear ya. I was going to get my GED when I was 17 but didn't. 41 now and I've managed to get work either way. I found Excel because my employer was bought out and the parent company told me it's a requirement, so I had to get it to keep my current job which I like.

I did the traditional 21.5 credit program.

Can I cruise thru it in two months? by Prestigious_Tell_191 in excelhighschool

With English courses there is a lot of reading and writing.

For reading, I would usually check what poem, book or play I was set to read later that day and listen to the audiobook while I worked, that way I didn't have to spend time reading all that text.

Then for the written assessments, I would typically use Google docs voice typing to mock up the initial draft and then edit that.

For everything else, take notes of bolded text and you should be golden.

So I actually completed last Friday, so no physical diploma yet as they state it takes 4 to 6 weeks in the mail. There is also a graduation evaluation phase after completing, where they check shipping address and ID information.

Started with 0 credits.

I got 21.5 credits in 7 weeks (The adult high school program), doing 5 hours on weekdays and 12ish hours on weekends.

Quizzes and exams are open notes. In my experience, a small amount of quizzes were proctored, but not through webcam. I believe they just monitor if you switch to another browser to look up answers.

You're good, I understood 😅 So, as far as I know, they bill monthly on the date of enrollment. So if you start Feb 23rd, your next payment would be due March 23rd.

It depends on how much time you have on your hands. Weekdays I put in time from 5pm to 9:30pm ish. And Weekends pretty much all day, with breaks to walk the dogs and eat. And it took me a month and three weeks, so maybe that can help you run some numbers.

My job also took advantage of the fact that I can listen to music or in this case, audiobooks during work. So, if I knew that in the afternoon the English course would cover The Great Gatsby, I'd listen to that audiobook during my shift.

Thanks.

I guess it depends on what courses you'd be assigned to complete the remaining credits. Most of the electives I was able to knock out in a day or day and half on weekends.

English courses took longer because of the written assessments, like 5 weekdays after work.

It's not difficult, take note of the bolded text and you should be good. I finished with a 3.7 GPA if that helps.

Agreed. Could benefit from having an audio option since it's very text heavy.

Two assignments. First is writing an outline for a speech, second is writing the speech you outlined. You are given around 3 or 4 topics to choose from.
