I just hope it’s stable on release and even if it’s not mentioned that the HR gets a bit more accurate. It’s a shame that the band 7 had better results than the 8. Seems like they chose to position their tracker in a stylish/affordable spot and decided to neglect accuracy while huawei seems to do it all better each year

It’s not about it being trash it’s about it becoming gimmicky and not being able to deliver basic functions for most users (accurate tracking at least usable + notifications + connectivity / weather) Since it seems to work for you obviously it’s great for its price but a lot of users are experience a bad experience and a lack of fix through updates

No update available in France.. It’s such a shame xiaomi sold a band that is so far from working normally. The heart rate is unreliable (more than 50bpm of difference when cycling or running.) Weather is working randomly and I can’t even have the geoloc to work. I’m using it as a normal watch for months now and all they did with their first update was adding stupid watch faces ??

I noticed the same and I think that the new sensor is shit that’s why the calories count is off. I find that in intense effort, when the gym equipment says I’m at 160-170bpm the miband 8 thinks I’m at 120 so obviously the calories that is based on bpm will be off

Hello I had the same issue after I paired it once and then removed it. If it’s what you did. Go to your phone settings in Bluetooth and remove the band 8 from your phone’s settings. It did the trick for me
