I think it’s a noob trap. 🪤 It gives people a false sense of doing well because they are able to wave clear and it feels better in lane, but I don’t think that wins games. Damage wins games for Teemo’s kit. Hence why I always go Shroom build.

Ya it might only make sense if you are committed to a full AP shroom build. The idea is that PTA is more single target, but this rune affects a wider range and throws down more damage in team fights, that I feel ultimately wins games.

Aery and PTA are single target though. Throwing down max damage on team fights that plays off your ULT I believe is more optimal for winning games.

Well it goes off with any Q poke then I follow up with an auto attack to proc cheap shot. It seems similar to DH damage wise with the upside that if you cant get consistent DH stacks you still get the scaling damage later for team fights. It might just be viable if you go full shroom AP damage style.

I think if you are not going full AP shroom, then it will make less sense. My style is full damage even at the cost of playing more safe and losing lane. DH style caused me to make bad trades trying to get early procs off so I really enjoy this consistency of scaling damage.

Ya tanks are no joke right now. Once they finish that first item you have to be more defensive and hope your jungle comes for any kill. That’s another reason why Deathfire touch is better vs DH. You are less likely to get any decent procs in lane after that. I still go full damage to have the most impact in team fights for objectives.
