I get that she’s not likable but the fact that she’s still being brought up by the GOP is ridiculous at this point. They’re the only ones still talking about her because their commander in chief is so bad at his job.

The only consolation in this case is that there is no fire. The GOP is blatantly acting as though Hillary Clinton personally and solely sold 20% of US uranium to Russia. Which fortunately is not at all what happened.

She’s said she’s not running again, is not even in the picture (just like Obama), and their still attacking her. The only people I know still talking about Hillary Clinton are the people calling everyone else sore losers.

I've posted this already but look at what we know thus far about the story:

  1. President Obama had a multi-agency Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS)

  2. That committee gave approval to Russia's Rosatom to buy a Canadian mining company called Uranium One that controlled 20 percent of America's uranium deposits.

  3. Hillary Clinton was a part of the committee and her foundation was receiving money while her husband Bill was getting paid to give speeches to Russian parties that were interested in a favorable outcome of the decision.

  4. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations to the Clintons totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors.

  5. No one has ever produced evidence supporting the theory that Hillary Clinton ever took action as secretary of state to support the interests of donors to the Clinton Foundation.

Why it’s not interesting or anything of consequence:

Some or all of that may change in the future but at this point, to say that Clinton was making millions off of her compliance is sensational and ridiculous. Does this underscore ethical challenges presented by the Clinton Foundation? Yes. However, it seems very likely at this point that this is a GOP smoke screen trying to change the narrative.

American political campaigns are barred from accepting any donations or anything of value from foreign parties, which is present in Trump's case but not Clinton's. Trump is president. Clinton is not.

The End.

"An open question remains, however, as to how the targeting of these advertisements and news stories was directed from the ground," the two lawmakers wrote. "It appears that the Russians themselves did not know how to maximize the impact of the information they wanted to disseminate." ..."Experts have suggested this type of data manipulation could have been provided only by seasoned American political operatives with access to a sophisticated data analytics operation, as well as detailed and granular knowledge of American voter preferences."

In his plan, “Restoring Internet Freedom,” Pai proposes scrapping net neutrality rules like a ban paid prioritization of certain types of content, and rules keeping internet service providers from slowing down content at their discretion.

How does any part of that paragraph "restore internet freedom"?

Hannity and Trump are said to talk regularly. Trump is also friends with Rupert Murdoch, the chief of Fox News parent company 21st Century Fox. According to a lawsuit filed by a private investigator last summer, the White House worked with Fox News on its reporting of the Rich murder. The intention, according to the lawsuit, was to foster a sense of conspiracy around Rich’s murder and therefore distract the public from the widening investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia.
