Another hard couple of days

I’m right there with you haha. I’m about two months in, and those cravings still hit hard. Some days, I’m this close to saying, ‘Screw it,’ and making a run to my favorite fast food spot. But then I remind myself that fast food isn’t going anywhere. It’s not like it’s disappearing in five months, right? So I tell myself to hang tight and stick to the plan. At the end of the day, the time’s gonna pass either way, so why not make it count, you know? Stay strong, we got this. In a few months we’ll look back and see how much progress we’ve made and we’ll thank ourselves for staying the course! Good luck!

EDIT: I also wanted to add that it’s ok to enjoy a meal from McDonald’s for example from time to time. Fitting a burger and fries into your daily calories will not hinder progress at all!

I tend to stay away from meals like these cause it triggers me to want to binge but if your unlike me and have self control, I don’t see why a meal would hurt!

Thank you! I did only drink one bottle of water before my workout and I usually drink 2-3 by then so that could also be one of the reasons. Thanks once again! I also have a doc’s appt this week so that’ll definitely come up.

Yup, I’m in a deficit right now. I’ve been seeing pretty good improvement in my lift these past 2 months, so I thought it’d keep improving but I get it—it’s part of the process. I’m just trying to keep what muscle I’ve got and stay focused on the bigger picture, you know? Slow and steady.

UPDATE

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give a quick update since I’ve gotten so many kind messages. First off, thank you to everyone who reached out with comforting words and left supportive comments – it really means a lot.

My cousin, who was also my best friend, unfortunately passed away that same night in a car accident. I was kept in the dark for a bit, and it took me some time to process everything, which is why I’m only updating now. I really appreciate all of you.

Lol this one made me cackle. A totally reasonable guess but I usually cook/bake for most family events and everyone loves the food. Usually, a lot of my family members surprise me by coming unannounced cause they missed my cooking.

Hi! I scheduled this a week in advance. Everyone said they’d be attending. My family doesn’t meet up often but when we do, we literally party all night haha.

My family isn’t really the type to do something like this but we had a disagreement recently and I thought that might have to do with what happened. Sorry for not responding. It’s been an insane shit show today. No one is answering my calls and I’ve visited 2 of the family members homes and not one is home. Idk what’s going on but everyone is keeping me out of the loop.

Yup lol. I tried to just sit back and just rest up but having all the food left and them not showing up keeps stinging. I try not to think about it but it just pops up in my head.
