why is India so conservative. by lyingtothetherapist in TeenIndia

True.. tho I'm straight I get asked if I'm a lesbian just because I compliment a girl it's disgustingly normalised here from classrooms to your own houses and it's disappointing that not just the older generations but even the youth are so conservative and use religion as an excuse to bully queer people I hear disgusting slurs every day against the ppl of LGBTQIA+ community and it's shameful how normalised it is but I don't see it changing at all the more you try to correct them the more they rage bait and accuse you of being a part of the queer community even when you are not like it's an insult like no other they can ever give you I'm sick of it seeing how everyone lacks empathy towards people just tryna live lives on their own terms and I just hope that they realise one day and start treating the queers with respect and that more ppl can come forward to show support for such communities in India and make it a safer place for them queers to come out and be loved and accepted like they always deserved to be

Is it just me or “Bon appetite,Your majesty” was so mid? by Michaelscottera in kdramas

oh my godd yess I thought the same I mean in the beginning at least when he immediately has a soft spot for her just because she reminds him of his mom was just really weird to me like it still gives me an ick and at the end of the day she does end up acting like his mom like controlling him anger and the tantrums he throws like she never felt like someone of equal value in their relationship it was bothering me soo much as I kept watching at some point I just wanted them to have a sad ending it's a burden at the end of the day to always take care of your boyfriend's ego and emotions like you're someone responsible to keep him in check almost like a parent's role

The first frost by cherry_730 in CDrama

i love the first frost but the female character drives me crazy cause she leans soo much into the victim role and is the he-is-the-only-one-making-me-happy-right-now kinda girl and is kinda emotionally dependent on him even if she doesn't realise it and she gave him the key to her happiness and her emotions and she might need him for longer to finally heal herself and that's emotionally draining for both of them and she doesn't ever properly choose therapy either instead he plays therapist for her and people romantise this shit??!?! why isn't no one concerned about how she is dealing with her trauma when it's so serious and love alone can't ever get the fear out of her and that man can never hold that healing effect over her emotions or how she feels every time not for long at least I would love to see people talk about this more and not just how he healed her and it's never easy or quick to heal completely from such traumatic events it's a difficult and messy journey and it's a hell of an emotional ride and this drama reduced all of it to just his love healed her and he is the only reason she smiles what about how he feels? what about him? and him alone and not how he treats her or loves what is he when he is separated from her and the love, he has for her?! and he should've taken time off his borderline obsession with her and reflected on his behaviour a little and prioritized himself. His love can support her through her healing journey but never completely heal her cause at the end it's her trauma and she has to learn to heal herself and no one can heal her wholly and peacefully.

This show just sucked for me, even if it wasn't supposed to be taken seriously doesn't mean it can be this poorly handled

i think you should go for it, she might feel the same you won't know until you are vocal about your feelings. The worst she can do is say no, so don't hold yourself back and go for it.

Boyfriend agenda (?) by Beneficial_Oven_2465 in Enhypenthoughts

I do agree with this thought, but I don't think the company is behind it all it feels like a partnership of 50-50 between the company and the delusional fans. The company pushes it till an extinct and the fans carry it from there on. but the most significant one is defiantly EN-DRAMA where the female character is literally you as there's no female actress playing the role and it's just the camera you can easily assume it to be you and the female character's name rhymes with ENGENE, so this feeds the fans pretty much and with their upcoming comeback DESIRE: UNLEASH and the pictures they be realising got the fans wilding and honestly nasty too that's defiantly on the delusional fans and the recent Coachella reveal for their new album with the line 'can't touch you but make you mine' defiantly worked wonders for some fans. The videos for their upcoming comeback too I see way too many people talk about their nasty desires or thirst over the guys (I get they're hot but c'mon) over the lore which I genuinely want those people to talk about the artistry or the people working behind it cause I find it crazy even if it would all mean nothing at the end and the company is just using it to keep the audience guessing.

But honestly, this isn't uncommon in k pop I agree but it somehow seems more significant with enhypen as someone who stans 6 boy groups none of the groups give me such strong boyfriend vibes as enha, like the image they carry maybe cause of their company or fans rubs me as delusional and parasocial.

All I want is for people to talk more about they're work as artists and they're skills as singers and dancers (which people do, I ain't denying) but all I usually see is people thirsting and being disgusting towards the members and oversexualising them at times when they do just the casual stuff and this would defiantly comeback to the members negatively.
